AMERICAN chinchilla


Rabbits of this type are distinguished three kinds:

Standard type with adult weights from 2.5 to 3 kg
Large type with adult weights from 4.5 to 5 kg
Type Giant with adult weight 6-7 kg

Rabbits were developed as a livestock dwiguma namely fur and meat production. American Chinchilla Rabbits standard types are imported from France by the U.S. in 1919 with the features of this rabbit gray (chinchilla), full of arrows, slender and curved back of the neck to the buttocks

Aka Giant Chinchilla giant rabbit is the result of a cross between a standard chinchilla to the Flemish giant. His name was shortened from Giant Chin, inventors are Ed Stalh of Missouri United States. Appearances large rabbit is similar to the standard type but the fur is thicker and better meat content.
